INROADS Annual Awards Reception
Since 1996, The McGraw-Hill Companies has supported the mission of INROADS - to develop and place talented minority youth in business and industry and prepare them for corporate and community leadership - by hiring student interns to work at facilities across the U.S. Through its partnership with McGraw-Hill, INROADS interns begin to learn the distinctive characteristics of the corporate world, develop required social skills and adeptness, and gain a better understanding of the complexities of the business world.
New York City Harlem YMCA's Salute to Black Achievers in Industry
The McGraw-Hill Companies has been a major supporter of the Harlem YMCA Black Achievers in Industry program since 1994. The company regards this program as a significant way of honoring and recognizing African American employees who have distinguished themselves in positions of responsibility.
New York City National Hispanic Corporate Achievers (NHCA)
NHCA promotes the advancement of diversity in Corporate America by hiring, promoting and retaining Hispanics, as well as highlighting Hispanic role models. NHCA provides Corporate America with a mechanism to honor employees of Hispanic origin who have provided their employers with outstanding job performance and innovation.
New York City YWCA Women Achievers Awards Luncheon
Since 1870, the YWCA-NYC has been a pioneer for social change with innovative programs to improve women's lives. The McGraw-Hill Companies participation in this event is an excellent opportunity to recognize and highlight the company's talented professional women.
