The McGraw-Hill Companies was recognized again for its commitment to environmental sustainability. McGraw-Hill was ranked #21 among the 500 largest companies in the U.S. and was the leader in the Media and Publishing sector.

For seven consecutive years, Working Mother Magazine has named The McGraw-Hill Companies one of the top 100 Best Companies for Working Mothers from 2005-2011. Additionally we placed in the top 10 category in 2007, 2008 and 2009.

The McGraw-Hill Companies was named for the second consecutive year as one of the 100 Best Corporate Citizens by Corporate Responsibility Magazine for 2011. The Corporation was among the top largest publicly traded companies based on its performance in a range of categories evaluated by the magazine, including philanthropy, the environment, and employee relations.

We were ranked #1 for hiring by HBCU Connect, and organization of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Consideration for the actual rankings for the companies was based on their consistency in effort, level of investment, actual hires and creativity in their outreach.
