McGraw-Hill was named among the top 20 best corporate citizens by Corporate Responsibility Magazine for 2012. McGraw-Hill ranked #16 in CR Magazine’s annual 100 Best Corporate Citizens list.

The annual 2011 Newsweek Green Rankings once again recognized McGraw-Hill for its commitment to environmental sustainability. McGraw-Hill was ranked #21 among the 500 largest companies in the U.S. and was the leader in the Media and Publishing sector.

McGraw-Hill was once again named to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) in recognition of our commitment to environmental sustainability in our business operations. We were recognized by both the DJSI World Index and DJSI North America Index and were also included in the 2012 DJSI Sustainability Yearbook.

McGraw-Hill was included in the 2011 Maplecroft Climate Innovation Index (CII) Leaders list that consists of the 100 top performing companies from the CII benchmark.

McGraw-Hill has been reconfirmed for inclusion in the Ethibel EXCELLENCE Investment Register. We have been included in the Ethibel EXCELLENCE Investment Register since 2005. These Investment Registers form the basis for the European Collective Quality label ‘ETHIBEL EXCELLENCE’, which is awarded to investment funds and financial products.

McGraw-Hill was once again included in the FTSE4Good Index Series which measures the performance of companies globally that meet recognized CR standards.

For the seventh consecutive year, Working Mother Magazine has named McGraw-Hill one of the 100 Best Companies for Working Mothers.

McGraw-Hill scored 90 out of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index.

The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption recognized McGraw-Hill one of the 100 Best Adoption-Friendly Workplaces in 2011.

In 2011, McGraw-Hill was named among the 50 Best Companies for Family-Building Benefits list by Conceive Magazine.

In 2011, McGraw-Hill was named among the top 50 Employers by Historically Black College and Universities (HBCU) Connect.

McGraw-Hill received the 2011 Diversity Council Honors Award by the Association of Diversity Councils.
